The Auschwitz Album, which is in Yad VaShem (a Holocaust museum in Israel), contains the only photos left from Auschwitz.

Auschwitz was one of the most horrible and cruel concentration camps, in which over a MILLION Jews were murdered. It was a merciless, inhumane place. People were separated from their families, not knowing it is forever. Starvation, disease, murder, and mass extermination, they are all only words. They cannot truly describe the horror.

The pictures and stories that appear in this album may touch your heart and make you cry, or they might not do anything to you – but I strongly recommend watching it either way. The pictures truly show the "double meaning" of a concentration camp.

Personally, I do not need to see the pictures – all I need is to think about the horrible things that were done there to have tears in my eyes and anger in my heart. I wish I could say such cruelty doesn't exist, but the facts speak for themselves.
