Rhythmic gymnastics is a highly developed sport inIsrael and it has over 46 associations .

Rhythmic gymnastics is a sport in which individual competitors or more (generally five) manipulate one or two apparatuses: ropes, hoops, balls, clubs and ribbons.

Rhythmic gymnastics is a sport that combines elements of ballet, gymnastics, theatrical dance, and apparatus manipulation.

In Israel we have a fantastic team, which includes the gymnasts Dvornichko Alona, Vigadorchick Rachel, Vitenberg Veronica, Savnakov Maria, Pisitzky Katia, and many more gymnasts from all over the country.

Israel's champion in rhythmic gymnastics is Irina Risenzon. Irina was born in Hungary at 1988. She is 1.70cm and she competed in the last Olympics in Beijing, where she won the ninth place.

Our country supports sport organizations and help young athletes to be at their very best. We wish all the athletes good luck in the future!
